2008 Taylor GA-312: A Taylor 12 string that harkens back to the days before acoustic guitars had to have cutaways and pickups to be cool. This Sitka Spruce top, Sapele back & sides, all solid wood grand auditorium, reminds us of one of the great 12 strings of the past, the Guild F212XL. That hallowed beast was often seen in the hands of the great folksingers of the day including John Denver, Bob Gibson, and a host of others. Here it is again, brought to life by Bob Taylor and his friends as the GA-312. Although, you have to admit, the Taylor is certainly a lot easier to play thanks to the near perfect Taylor neck shape.
