Grand Concert

New! Taylor Custom Shop Grand Concert: Our own Steve Mendoza has been in heavy consultation with the Taylor folks, picking out wood samples, deciding on bracing patterns, and choosing decorative options. The result of this collaboration has just arrived, and it is SPECTACULAR! Starting with the hallowed "sinker Redwood" top, the top wood which has drawn raves from players, recording engineers and sound techs who have been fortunate enough to be able to audition one. The back & sides are highly figured Cocobolo, the Central American first cousin to Brazilian rosewood. This is a potent combination producing brilliant high, richly satisfying mid range, and strong, yet not overbearing bass response. Just about as well balanced as they get. The guitar was created with playing ease in mind, the very comfortable Taylor neck combined with a shorter scale. There is nothing easier to play. The unfortunate part is that there is one, and only one of these beautiful Taylor Custom Shop guitars available. You should call or come in immediately. With hard case. (msrp: $6054) Stock#NGB30147 photo BUY NOW
