Martin 0-18 Once you've experienced the tone of a vintage Martin guitar, it's hard to resist owning one. Yes, there are some current makers who produce wonderful guitars, many in the Martin tradition, too. As John Wooden once said after having been complemented on his coaching of the young Lew Alcindor "You can't coach height". And so with guitars, "You can't build age". The richness of tone from this, one of the smaller guitars in the Martin line-up will surround your ears with the most pleasant of sounds. Each note stands out like a Christmas bell, not only for its sonorous splendor, but also because it brings joy whenever you hear it. You must play it to appreciate it. The guitar shows much of the handling marks that you would show too if you were in your late 50s, but is structurally sound, and should provide endless years of playing satisfaction.
