Used Collings DS-1: For those who may not be familiar with the history of the dreadnought guitar, it may surprise you to know that the original dreadnought design was a round shouldered, 12 fret to the body instrument, very much the way you see it here. Collings has fully replicated the original design with its wider "keel" neck. Sitka Spruce for the top and Mahogany for the back & sides. The body, because of its elongated shape produces a much richer tone, especially in the mid-range. This original design receives a lot of improvement from the Collings influence.
