The Slant 6V can be operated at half-power in cathode bias (18W) or fixed bias mode (22W), yielding tones reminiscent of early tweed and AC-style combos in cathode mode, and a punchier, more tightly defined sound in fixed bias mode. JUST IN!! 1990's Fender '59 Bassman: The ’50s Fender Bassman was the pro bassist’s answer to amplifying a great new invention: the Fender Precision Bass® guitar. This powerful 50-watt rig could easily compete with the common instrumentation of the day: horns, piano, four-piece drum kit with calfskin heads, and maybe even an electric guitar through a nice, new 10-watt amp! By the ’60s and ’70s, the original all-tube “Tweed” 4x10 Bassman was popular with rock, country and blues guitarists as a reliably great-sounding and easy-to-use guitar amp. Even some emerging British amp designers of the day copied its circuitry for use in their most celebrated designs. In the 1990s, Fender released an affordable reissue of the now-collectible ’59 Bassman amplifier to massive acclaim. Many guitarists, tired of experimenting with preamps, equalizers, and effects racks, rediscovered the simple pleasure of plugging into a Fender tube amp. The Bassman’s wide stage coverage, touch-sensitive dynamics and full-frequency “swirl” make it the perfect vehicle for building a great tone with almost any guitar or effect. The reissue Bassman continues to be a staple of the Fender guitar amp line to this day. With road case! Buffalo Bros price: $1000 Stock #UAB31371.
New! Fender Blues Junior: The Blues Junior, a warm-toned favorite, takes our 15-watt tube preamp/power amp platform and pushes it through a 12” Fender Special Design speaker. That sound comes courtesy of a pair of EL-84 Groove Tube output tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. Add our renowned Fender reverb, flexible controls, and FAT circuit with footswitch for golden tones, and you're in business. And just look at that chrome panel, that black textured vinyl with silver grille cloth, and those vintage pointer knobs ... (MSRP $699.99) Stock #NAB31548 and NAB31549.
1949/50 Fender TV Front Deluxe Tweed: After the release of the tweed-covered Dual Professional around 1947, the wooden Deluxe followed suit the following year with upgrades in a number of areas. The new "vertical"-tweed-covered, commonly referred to as the TV Front cabinet housed a single 12" Jensen Alnico field coil speaker, new chassis, chrome-plated with numbers and loge stenciled in white, the 6N7 phase inverter was replaced with another 6SC7 and the preamp tubes changed to grid resistor bias which would eventually be the basis for the tweed Deluxe amps that followed. Touted to be "As Modern As Tomorrow" the Deluxe was and continues to be one or the most popular guitar amps in history. These TV Front era models may not be the loudest, but the tone is sweet and unique, smooth and warm for jazz yet there's a monstrous growl awaiting when cranked. This one has had the original dark brown mohair grille cloth replaced, the original transformer has been rewound and a few cap's have been changed, but retains the original 2-prong power cord. There really is nothing else that sounds like these wonderful Fender TV Front Deluxe amps. Buffalo Bros price: $2000 Stock #UAC31251.

1973 Fender Deluxe Reverb: The circuitry of the Fender Deluxe Reverb changed very little, unlike the larger Fender amps, which makes the Silverface Deluxe Reverb model a great value not too mention a smart purchase with the ever escalating prices of the mid-'60s amps. In the case of the Fender Deluxe Reverb models the price is nearly double for an amp that's virtually the same on the inside! Original cover included. Buffalo Bros price: $2000 Stock #UAB30337. Late-'70s Fender Deluxe Reverb: This is just about the best value you'll find in the vintage Fender amp market. 1964/65 Fender Princeton: If ever there was an example we would feel comfortable refering to as NEAR MINT then this would certainly be a candidate for that consideration. This all original Fender Princeton shows almost no signs of its age. Were it not for just a few light scuffs (no tears) in the tolex you might think this one never left the show room!...and when we say '64/'65 it means it actually straddles between the years; the pots date to '64, tube chart dates December '64, the power transformer dates to the 43rd week of '64, the output transformer dates to the 2nd week of '65 and the Oxford speaker dates to the 14th week of '65. This super clean Fender Princeton is easily one of the finest examples we've seen in many, many years! Buffalo Bros price: $1800 Stock #UAB30341. PHOTO

Circa-'73 Fender Pro Reverb Silverface: Great sounding Fender Pro Reverb. Non-master volume. Very affordable true vintage all tube Fender amp. $1250 Stock #UAB28185.
Circa '81 Fender Pro Reverb Blackface: In the early '80s Fender returned to the Blackface appointments from the mid-'60s on some of the amp models. Visually nodding back to the classic models these updated versions were among the last of the originally issued hand-wired amps. The basic layout of the Pro Reverb stayed the same with Normal and Vibrato channels with bright switches, Treble, Middle and Bass controls. The Master volume was upgraded to include Overdrive accessed by a push/pull knob. Other additions on the back panel include Line/Recording out as well as Output Tube Matching and Hum Balancing adjusters for improved and easier servicing. These are an incredible value in today's vintage and boutique amp market and you'd be hard pressed to find a better hand-wire amp at this price. Buffalo Bros price: $1100 Stock #NAB30416.
1964 Fender Tremolux Head and 2x10 Cabinet: In terms of volume the Fender Tremolux lies between the Deluxe and Vibrolux. This provides ample headroom for clean sounds yet not being overpowered so that you can crank it into a nice overdrive for blues and rock without being unbalanced in the overall mix. The two original and recently reconed 10" Oxford speakers smooth out the highs a little for a sweet and singing lead tone while the closed back cabinet maintains a tight bass response. The Fender Tremolux has always been one of our favorites and this is one of the best we've heard! With custom covers. Buffalo Bros price: $1800 for the set Stock #UAB30471. photo

Though tonally similar to a JTM45, the 1962 combo is loaded with two re-issue "Greenback" 25 watt speakers to re-create that classic sixties tone. Used! Marshall Model 2266C Vintage Modern 2x12 Combo: The 2266C 50-watt 2X12 combo is an all-valve single channel amplifier with a choice of 2 "dynamic ranges" selectable by a footswitch. The Low range equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the 70s. Add to this, the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument's volume and tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance. Two "frequency selective" pre-amp volumes (gains) -- Body and Detail -- facilitate greater flexibility of tonal shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily based on the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with 4 x KT66 output valves yielding that substantial fat and smooth tone. A Mid Boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound. Buffalo Bros price: $1200 Stock #UAB27686.
