CARR

New! Carr Slant 6V 1-12 Combo Black Tolex: The 40 watt Slant 6V offers an impressive range of legendary American and British tones, and unprecedented versatility and usable power without sacrificing the warmth, clarity and handbuilt, all-tube tone that are the hallmark of Carr amplifiers. The Slant 6V can be operated at half-power in cathode bias (18W) or fixed bias mode (22W), yielding tones reminiscent of early tweed and AC-style combos in cathode mode, and a punchier, more tightly defined sound in fixed bias mode. fend

New! Fender Bassman TV Twelve: Fender® Bassman® TV™ Panel bass combos carry the DNA of the original Bassman, delivering classic Fender bass tone in a package designed to handle the demands of low bass frequencies. With a unique look that is unmistakably Fender, you are sure to class up any stage and cut through the monotony. The Precision Bass® was born in 1951, forever changing music and giving birth to a new kind of musician, the electric bassist. Maximizing this amazing new instrument was the mighty Bassman, the original electric bass amplifier. Since that initial inspiration many new musical chapters have been written. Now it’s your turn. Plug into a Bassman TV Panel amp and make history. (MSRP $1299.99) CALL US! Stock #NAB30602. BUY NOW

JUST IN!! 1990's Fender '59 Bassman: The ’50s Fender Bassman was the pro bassist’s answer to amplifying a great new invention: the Fender Precision Bass® guitar. This powerful 50-watt rig could easily compete with the common instrumentation of the day: horns, piano, four-piece drum kit with calfskin heads, and maybe even an electric guitar through a nice, new 10-watt amp! By the ’60s and ’70s, the original all-tube “Tweed” 4x10 Bassman was popular with rock, country and blues guitarists as a reliably great-sounding and easy-to-use guitar amp. Even some emerging British amp designers of the day copied its circuitry for use in their most celebrated designs. In the 1990s, Fender released an affordable reissue of the now-collectible ’59 Bassman amplifier to massive acclaim. Many guitarists, tired of experimenting with preamps, equalizers, and effects racks, rediscovered the simple pleasure of plugging into a Fender tube amp. The Bassman’s wide stage coverage, touch-sensitive dynamics and full-frequency “swirl” make it the perfect vehicle for building a great tone with almost any guitar or effect. The reissue Bassman continues to be a staple of the Fender guitar amp line to this day. With road case! Buffalo Bros price: $1000 Stock #UAB31371.

JUST IN!! New! Fender Blues Junior: The Blues Junior, a warm-toned favorite, takes our 15-watt tube preamp/power amp platform and pushes it through a 12” Fender Special Design speaker. That sound comes courtesy of a pair of EL-84 Groove Tube output tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. Add our renowned Fender reverb, flexible controls, and FAT circuit with footswitch for golden tones, and you're in business. And just look at that chrome panel, that black textured vinyl with silver grille cloth, and those vintage pointer knobs ... (MSRP $699.99) Stock #NAB31548 and NAB31549.

JUST IN!! '70s Fender Champ: There are a few Fender amp models that remained relatively unchanged throughout the years. In fact, the Fender Champ maintained pretty much the same circuitry from '64-'82! This is why these little 6-watt wonders are such a screamin' deal in today's vintage amp market; a single 12AX7, one 6V6 and a 5Y3 rectifier tube, volume, treble and bass controls, one 8" speaker. Great vintage Fender amp tone at bedroom volumes and a price that just can't be beat! Buffalo Bros price: $350 Stock #UAB31263.

JUST IN!! 1949/50 Fender TV Front Deluxe Tweed: After the release of the tweed-covered Dual Professional around 1947, the wooden Deluxe followed suit the following year with upgrades in a number of areas. The new "vertical"-tweed-covered, commonly referred to as the TV Front cabinet housed a single 12" Jensen Alnico field coil speaker, new chassis, chrome-plated with numbers and loge stenciled in white, the 6N7 phase inverter was replaced with another 6SC7 and the preamp tubes changed to grid resistor bias which would eventually be the basis for the tweed Deluxe amps that followed. Touted to be "As Modern As Tomorrow" the Deluxe was and continues to be one or the most popular guitar amps in history. These TV Front era models may not be the loudest, but the tone is sweet and unique, smooth and warm for jazz yet there's a monstrous growl awaiting when cranked. This one has had the original dark brown mohair grille cloth replaced, the original transformer has been rewound and a few cap's have been changed, but retains the original 2-prong power cord. There really is nothing else that sounds like these wonderful Fender TV Front Deluxe amps. Buffalo Bros price: $2000 Stock #UAC31251.

JUST IN!! 1995 Fender Deluxe Tweed: This beautiful example has been lovingly restored. The wide-panel cabinet was expertly recovered in fresh tweed by the Fender factory and era correct replacement handle installed. The 5D3 circuit has been completely serviced with new cap's and resistors and the speaker is the original Jensen P12R Alnico. A fan has been tastefully added to keep things cool. Not only is this '55 Fender Deluxe beautiful in appearance, it's just brimming with glorious tone! After all that's what it's all about. Buffalo Bros price: $1850 Stock #UAB31052.

Used! Fender Cyber Deluxe: The Cyber–Deluxe™ amplifier allows you to be the amp designer. Start with one of 32 permanent amp and effect setups stored within the Cyber-Deluxe™ amp—twist some knobs, make some changes, then SAVE to one of the 32 rewritable preset locations reserved onboard for your original amplifier designs. Or, press MANUAL and start from scratch. MIDI implementation on the Cyber–Deluxe™ amplifier enables you to transfer presets to and from the amp for backup to a PC, or for exchange with other Cyber–Deluxe™ amplifier players. The Cyber–Deluxe™ amplifier also puts a huge array of studio–quality effects at your command: Reverb, Modulation and Delay effects, enough to satisfy most any sonic appetite. And many are in stereo, so you can use the line outputs, headphones, or an additional amp to enjoy a fully ambient stereo dimension. The Cyber–Deluxe™ amplifier’s Dyna–Touch™ power amp circuitry and Celestion® speaker deliver powerful, responsive Tone to you and your audience. With 4-button footswitch and manual. Buffalo Bros price: $450 UAB29886.

1973 Fender Deluxe Reverb: The circuitry of the Fender Deluxe Reverb changed very little, unlike the larger Fender amps, which makes the Silverface Deluxe Reverb model a great value not too mention a smart purchase with the ever escalating prices of the mid-'60s amps. In the case of the Fender Deluxe Reverb models the price is nearly double for an amp that's virtually the same on the inside! Original cover included. Buffalo Bros price: $2000 Stock #UAB30337. JUST IN!! Late-'70s Fender Deluxe Reverb: This is just about the best value you'll find in the vintage Fender amp market. Produced in the late 1970s this example features a push/pull Boost on the Volume control of the Vibrato channel and is loaded with a JBL D120 speaker for shimmering and sparkly clean sounds....and it's definitely loud enough to hang with a drummer on the bandstand! Buffalo Bros price: $1200 Stock #UAB31206.

JUST IN!! New! Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue: The 22-watt (at 8 ohms) ’65 Deluxe Reverb amp is for rock, country or blues players who want a moderately powered amp they can crank up on the gig or in the studio. The fat, snappy guitar tones heard on many of our favorite recordings, from Memphis to Abbey Road, were made using the Deluxe amp. Features include a pair of 6V6 output tubes, one 5AR4 rectifier tube, four 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 12AT7 tubes, one 12” 8-ohm Jensen® C-12K speaker, dual channels (normal and vibrato), tube-driven Fender reverb, tube vibrato, two-button footswitch for reverb and vibrato on-off, black textured vinyl covering and silver grille cloth. Used! Fender Frontman 15G: Fender’s Blackface™ cosmetic treatment (skirted knobs; silver grille cloth) makes these amps look as good as they sound! All Frontman guitar amps, including this, the 15-watt Frontman 15G, feature dual selectable channels ("normal" and "drive"), auxilliary input for CD or drum machine use, a headphone jack and separate controls for treble, mid, bass, volume, gain and drive. Small package; huge Fender sound! Buffalo Bros price: $50! Stock #UAB31281.

1964/65 Fender Princeton: If ever there was an example we would feel comfortable refering to as NEAR MINT then this would certainly be a candidate for that consideration. This all original Fender Princeton shows almost no signs of its age. Were it not for just a few light scuffs (no tears) in the tolex you might think this one never left the show room!...and when we say '64/'65 it means it actually straddles between the years; the pots date to '64, tube chart dates December '64, the power transformer dates to the 43rd week of '64, the output transformer dates to the 2nd week of '65 and the Oxford speaker dates to the 14th week of '65. This super clean Fender Princeton is easily one of the finest examples we've seen in many, many years! Buffalo Bros price: $1800 Stock #UAB30341. PHOTO

Used! Fender Pro Junion Limited Edition Canary Wood!  This model was made for a limited run for the Fender Custom Shop ~ and has Bill Giles signature inside the cabinet.  This is a GORGEOUS piece of art in it's own sense that the canary wood and "tv" looking cabinet are too cool for words!  Add to it the fact it's also a great sounding amplifier and it's very hard not fall in love instantly! $850  Stock #UAC31092

Circa-'73 Fender Pro Reverb Silverface: Great sounding Fender Pro Reverb. Non-master volume. Very affordable true vintage all tube Fender amp. $1250 Stock #UAB28185.

Circa '81 Fender Pro Reverb Blackface: In the early '80s Fender returned to the Blackface appointments from the mid-'60s on some of the amp models. Visually nodding back to the classic models these updated versions were among the last of the originally issued hand-wired amps. The basic layout of the Pro Reverb stayed the same with Normal and Vibrato channels with bright switches, Treble, Middle and Bass controls. The Master volume was upgraded to include Overdrive accessed by a push/pull knob. Other additions on the back panel include Line/Recording out as well as Output Tube Matching and Hum Balancing adjusters for improved and easier servicing. These are an incredible value in today's vintage and boutique amp market and you'd be hard pressed to find a better hand-wire amp at this price. Buffalo Bros price: $1100 Stock #NAB30416.

New! Fender Super-Champ XD: The Super Champ XD takes the vintage Champ into a new era with classic styling, simple controls, a good variety of clean and distorted tones and unmistakable tube feel and performance at a remarkable price. (MSRP $419.99) Buffalo Bros price: only $299.99! Stock #NAB31163.

1964 Fender Tremolux Head and 2x10 Cabinet: In terms of volume the Fender Tremolux lies between the Deluxe and Vibrolux. This provides ample headroom for clean sounds yet not being overpowered so that you can crank it into a nice overdrive for blues and rock without being unbalanced in the overall mix. The two original and recently reconed 10" Oxford speakers smooth out the highs a little for a sweet and singing lead tone while the closed back cabinet maintains a tight bass response. The Fender Tremolux has always been one of our favorites and this is one of the best we've heard! With custom covers. Buffalo Bros price: $1800 for the set Stock #UAB30471. photo

New! Marshall 1959SLPHW 100 Watt Head: As with every amp in Marshall's Handwired series, all of the original components and materials were used or reproduced in the 1959HW and the methods of construction employed in the late 1960s were revisited too. Both transformers -- output and power -- have been meticulously recreated by Dagnall Electronics to duplicate the electrical performance and characteristics of the originals while satisfying stringent modern safety legislations. As a result of this attention to detail, the 1959HW's handwired tag-board lives up to the slogan, 'Point-to-Point Perfection'." 1959HW Head. This handwired reissue, all-valve head (3 x ECC83/12AX7 in the preamp, 4 x EL34s in power amp) features two channels, I and II (labeled 'High Treble' and 'Normal' respectively in later renditions of the original 1959 model due to the differences in their voicing), each with two inputs -- high sensitivity and low sensitivity. Both channels share tone shaping controls for Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence. (MSRP $4000) Stock #NAB20775 $CALL FOR BUFFALO BROS PRICE!

New! Marshall Model 1962 Bluesbreaker 2x12 Combo: After the huge success of the JTM45 amplifier, a 2x12" combo version was released to satisfy popular demand and the now legendary 1962 combo was born. Once again the use of a GZ34 valve rectifier is responsible for helping to achieve the famed output stage compression and sustain exhibited uniquely by both the JTM45 and 1962. Though tonally similar to a JTM45, the 1962 combo is loaded with two re-issue "Greenback" 25 watt speakers to re-create that classic sixties tone. The 1962 Bluesbreaker combo also comes with the addition of footswitchable tremolo effect. (MSRP $3000) SHOP DEMO MODEL - $CALL FOR BUFFALO BROS PRICE! Stock #NAB21425.

Used! Marshall Model 2266C Vintage Modern 2x12 Combo: The 2266C 50-watt 2X12 combo is an all-valve single channel amplifier with a choice of 2 "dynamic ranges" selectable by a footswitch. The Low range equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the 70s. Add to this, the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument's volume and tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance. Two "frequency selective" pre-amp volumes (gains) -- Body and Detail -- facilitate greater flexibility of tonal shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily based on the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with 4 x KT66 output valves yielding that substantial fat and smooth tone. A Mid Boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound. Buffalo Bros price: $1200 Stock #UAB27686.
