1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb: (G) The blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb from the mid-'60s continues to be one of the most coveted amps for its sweet singing sound and versatility both on stage and in the studio. Of course we all know that the value of these wonderful amps continues to escalate and for many players  this keeps them out of their reach. Well here's the answer! This work horse has been re-cap'd, the transformers have been changed and the speaker is a newer Jensen P12R Alnico for more a tweed style response. It's still got that great tone and feel and would be a welcome edition to any player's arsenal of gigging tools....especially at this very affordable price!!! With original footswitch. Buffalo Bros price: $1600 Stock #UAB23582.

1975 Fender Deluxe Reverb: 100% original with hang tags!!! We seriously doubt that you will find a cleaner Fender Deluxe Reverb than this beauty right here. It truly looks like it was never taken anywhere! Were it not for some kind of identification number etched into one of the chassis straps this prime example could easily qualify for one that never even left the shop. The circuitry of the Fender Deluxe Reverb changed very little, unlike the larger Fender amps, which makes the Silverface Deluxe Reverb model a great value not too mention a smart purchase with the ever escalating prices of the mid-'60s amps. In the case of the Fender Deluxe Reverb models the price is nearly double for an amp that's virtually the same on the inside! Buffalo Bros price: $2000 Stock #UAB29478. photo

New! Marshall 1959SLPHW 100 Watt Head: As with every amp in Marshall's Handwired series, all of the original components and materials were used or reproduced in the 1959HW and the methods of construction employed in the late 1960s were revisited too. Both transformers -- output and power -- have been meticulously recreated by Dagnall Electronics to duplicate the electrical performance and characteristics of the originals while satisfying stringent modern safety legislations. As a result of this attention to detail, the 1959HW's handwired tag-board lives up to the slogan, 'Point-to-Point Perfection'." 1959HW Head. This handwired reissue, all-valve head (3 x ECC83/12AX7 in the preamp, 4 x EL34s in power amp) features two channels, I and II (labeled 'High Treble' and 'Normal' respectively in later renditions of the original 1959 model due to the differences in their voicing), each with two inputs -- high sensitivity and low sensitivity. Both channels share tone shaping controls for Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence. (MSRP $4000) Stock #NAB20775 $CALL FOR BUFFALO BROS PRICE!

1976 Marshall Model 1959 Super Lead 100 Watt Head Black Tolex: (VG) You want a killer sounding, rockin' and a-rollin' amp?!?! Then this Marshall model 1959 JMP Super Lead head is what you've been craving. We recently acquired this puppy from a real burnin' pro player buddy of ours and it's definitely one of the best sounding heads we've heard. A master volume control has been tastefully added using the 2nd input of channel 2, leaving the individual volume controls intact and separate. A fan was also added to the side of the cabinet, but it is no longer connected. This is a great sounding Super Lead with all the Marshall crunch you could hope for. $1600 Stock #UAB27899.

New! Marshall Model 1962 Bluesbreaker 2x12 Combo: After the huge success of the JTM45 amplifier, a 2x12" combo version was released to satisfy popular demand and the now legendary 1962 combo was born. Once again the use of a GZ34 valve rectifier is responsible for helping to achieve the famed output stage compression and sustain exhibited uniquely by both the JTM45 and 1962. Though tonally similar to a JTM45, the 1962 combo is loaded with two re-issue "Greenback" 25 watt speakers to re-create that classic sixties tone. The 1962 Bluesbreaker combo also comes with the addition of footswitchable tremolo effect. (MSRP $3000) SHOP DEMO MODEL - $CALL FOR BUFFALO BROS PRICE! Stock #NAB21425.

New! Marshall 2266C Vintage Modern 2x12 Combo: The Marshall 2266C 50 watt 2x12 combo is an all-valve single channel amplifier with a choice of two 'dynamic ranges' selectable by footswitch. The Low range equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High ranges adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the '70s. Add to this the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument's volume and tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance. Two 'frequency selective' pre-amp volume or gain controls (Body and Detail) facilitate greater flexibility of tonal shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily based on the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with two KT66 output valves yielding that substantial fat and smooth tone. A mid boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound. Used! Gibson GA-5 Les Paul Junior Amp Creme Tolex ~~~ VERY HARD TO FIND ~~~: (EXC) One of the hippest little amps to be released in recent years is the Gibson GA-5 Les Paul Junior. The original version was intended as the companion to the student model instruments, including the then very popular lap steel models. As time passed, people rediscovered these little tone monsters finding them to be very studio friendly. You can crank it up for a stinging and raucous rock and roll sound at volume levels the were much more manageable. As a nod to these great vintage amps, Gibson released for a short time a reissue of the GA-5; an all tube, hand-wired 5 watt amp, single-ended Class A circuitry, 1xEL84, 1x12AX7, single 8" speaker and single volume control. There aren't a lot of these floating around so they're getting very difficult to find these days. Grab it while you can! Buffalo Bros price: $500 Stock #UAB28975.

1961 Gibson GA-18T Explorer Amp Tweed Covering: (VG) Much of the time when people talk about "tweed" amps it usually revolves around "deluxe" or "bassman", maybe even "pro" amps. Well let's not forget about those other great amps that also had tweed covering. Among them is the Gibson GA-18T Explorer and it's definitely one of the coolest little amps out there. Pushing out somewhere between 14-18 watts, this model features a single 10" Alnico speaker, volume and tone controls, depth and frequency controls for the built-in tremolo and 3 inputs. Gibson amps of the '50s and early-60s were favored by many jazz guitarists as they tended to have a cleaner sound and weren't quite as aggressive as some of the other offerings at the time. That said, these little low watt wonders can crank out some downright nasty tones when pushed, perfect for the studio or even the small venue. The added plus is that these are still very affordable in today's vintage amp market, which is why they continue to be popular among players. With original footswitch. Buffalo Bros price: $750 Stock #UAB24909. photo

New! Gretsch G5222 Electromatic Tweed Covering: It's no big secret that low wattage guitar amps have long been used in the studio for huge tones. Pushing just 5 watts, the G5222 is perfect for any situation where too much volume would be a problem, but the tone needs to be perfect. Strum gently and you get warm, round chords. Dig in and the G5222 gets mean, with tones that are ripe for searing riffs. All this tube goodness is made possible by a 12AX7 in the preamp and a 6V6 in the power amp. Covered in tweed with a leather strap handle, the G5222 certainly has the appearance of a tube-powered jewel from the '50s. The retro-script emblems on the amp further adds to the vibe. Afterall, nothing says classic like Gretsch! (MSRP $240) Stock #NAB27193*

Used! Heritage Victory Head and 1x12 Cab Green Tolex: (EXC) It's a shame that the fine line of Heritage guitar amplifiers is no longer being produced because they are easily among the best sounding amps on the market. Arguably the most popular of these models is the Heritage Victory. This hand-wired all tube boutique quality amp is like finding the perfect blackface Deluxe that's been ever so slightly hot-rodded. The Victory pushes out 22 watts from a pair of 6V6's. Unlike the single channel combo version, the head version features a 2nd channel that can also be used as an effects loop for channel 1.  With this layout the channels can either be used independently or blended together with the global master volume for a variety of tones and textures. Other controls include treble, bass, mid, "Focus" to adjust low-mid voicing of the tone controls and "Cut" to reduce high frequencies in the power amp section, smoothing out and darkening the overall tone of the amp. The matching cabinet is loaded with a single 12" Celestion G-12H 30, the perfect blend of a Greenback and a Vintage 30. The Heritage Victory will always be one of our favorites and is destined to be one of those very much sought after and treasured amps. Grab it while you have the chance. Buffalo Bros price: $1450 for the set. Stock #UAB24258.

The ZT Lunchbox would be astounding at any price, packing seriously good sound, 200 Watts of power and more than 120 dB of sound capability into a tiny box. Unlike any other amp in its class, the Lunchbox has both the muscle and the refinement to handle a live playing situation. Designed for portability, personality and flexibility, the Lunchbox is a true “players amp,” at home in any situation. Yes, you can practice, jam, record or gig with a single amp small enough to fit in a backpack. And you will be heard! (MSRP $289) Buffalo Bros price: only $259! Stock NAB29883 and NAB29884
