Steve White has been one of our favorite local musicians for decades. Too humble by nature, Steve has just recently started earning the recognition has been so long overdue. Steve plays a sophisticated form of foot-percussion while simultaneously playing the heck out of a guitar and harmonica. Influenced by the pioneering John Hartford, Steve has taken the one-man band genre a step further. You can find out more about his music at stevewhiteblues.com. Luckily when he’s not off touring the globe, he still calls Encinitas, CA his home. And guess what else? He’s a painter as well. We have just a couple of his sketches in the store at the moment and hope to have more on the way soon.
