New! Ayers C3: At first glance you'll be able to see the quality in any Ayers uke. They are handcrafted in San Diego County with a lot of care and attention to detail. Take this deep bodied concert uke for example. The back & sides are of incredibly figured Spalted Maple. The wood alone is so rare as to be seen on very few instruments. And when you pick it up and play it, you'll wonder why everybody you know doesn't have one. (It's because Ayers hand builds only a few each year). $500 Stock#NUC30857 photo

Often tuned higher than a ukulele, it can be retrofitted with heavier strings to be played in the uke range.
