in STOCK!! New! PRS 1980 West Street Limited Vintage Cherry ~~~ LIMITED PRODUCTION OF 300 WORLDWIDE ~~~: It's been talked about and anticipated for two years and the wait is finally over. The limited edition PRS 1980 West Street has arrived and it is everything we imagined and more! This model is a faithful replica of the earliest PRS guitars made in the original West Street shop. The top is carved from gorgeously figured exotic sapele and the back and neck are solid mahogany. The headstock has also been overlaid with figured sapele to complement the body. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is adorned with premium green heart abalone shell birds inlay and the headstock has been inlaid with an eagle. Rounding out the accents there's an OM symbol on the truss rod cover and dragon motif on the body whose design was taken directly form some of the first PRS guitars ever built. The 1980 West Street also features the Santana II neck carve and 11.5" fingerboard radius for comfy and inviting playability. The bridge is a non-plated PRS tremolo and is coupled with PRS low-mass locking tuners. In the electronics department there's the HFS treble pickup and RP bass pickup with zebra bobbins and Santana II switching. The PRS 1980 West Street is indeed a very special model and with only 300 produced worldwide it's safe to say that this is the only one we will be able to obtain. An instant collectable!
