Born in South Africa, Narisa was destined to become an artist. She inherited the eyes and hands of her mother, an accomplished fine sculptor and painter. From this familial background she developed a sense of rich color and artistic diversity. At the age of 18, Narisa traveled to Europe where she learned to respect the detailed skill and beauty of the old masters focusing on the human figure. As a music enthusiast it was only natural for her to create a series of musicians with their instruments. You’ll notice that there is usually a stunning female incorporated into most pieces (bearing a striking resemblance to the artist herself) offering yet another example of why most guys pick up a guitar in the first place. Her works have been seen throughout the Southwest in both fine art galleries and legendary music venues such as the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA.
