It is with deepest respect that we say goodbye to our very good friend

Mr. George Fullerton.

Thank you George for all you've done, you've made our world a better place.

We'll miss you!

Buffalo Bros.

The Bros. have always had a warm spot in our hearts for G&L.
The legacy that Leo Fender began in 1946 has continued to be the soul of G&L guitars.
We pay special attention to the "Leo era" instruments that
Leo Fender and his partner George Fullerton produced prior to 1991,
as well as G&L Special and Limited Editions.
Many players and collectors firmly believe that G&L guitars are the best value
in a vintage or collectable instrument that are quickly rising in value & demand.

Special Limited Offer:

The BuffaloBros. road show found itself in the cold Northwest where we happened upon a store that had just changed owners. The new owners decided to stop renting guitars, amps and PAs and are going to only rent band and orchestra instruments in the future. We grabbed their entire stock of G&Ls.

From there it was a short 30 minute drive to an auction of unclaimed goods from a distributor's warehouse, then to another dealer, 110 miles away who was going out of business. Grand total for the Bros. van=106  G&L guitars and basses to share with you folks at never to be seen again prices!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes, and a new transmission for the van.

Check 'em out! We are listing them as fast as we can. some have already been grabbed by some of the Bros. staff. These deals are just too good to pass up!  While some have wear, many look new but all are sold as used at a phenomenal price!  Don't forget to make this great deal even better ~ our 100% Upgrade Policy applies!

Vintage "Leo Era" G&Ls!

JUST IN!! 1983 G&L F-100 Series II Sunburst:  Mahogany body with 2-tone sunburst finish.  Dual Fulcrum tremolo.  Twin MFD humbuckers.  Ebony neck.  Two small screw holes by the tremolo indicating a possible roland pickup attached at one time.  Missing trem bar.  The Series II indicates it has a vintage style fretboard radius (7.5") on a 1-5/8" nut width neck.  Comes with gigbag.  Pictures to follow!  $900.  Stock #UGB30468 photo

JUST IN!! 1983 G&L SC-2 Orange: This is one of our favorite guitars (which is why we've had so many of this series in our personal collection!).  Classic maple body in orange (with a bit more red than most orange ones we've had before) and two twin MFD 'soapbars' for that tone that only G&L can deliver.   This also is a hardtail with the saddle lock bridge which in our opinion remains as the BEST bridge for a guitar in the industry (unless you want a tremolo/vibrato version).  Of course it has the maple neck (all the Leo Era versions are Maple, all the modern versions have Rosewood) and it even has the very rare original black tolex hardcase!  $1,200.  Stock #UGB30956 photo

1988 G&L SC-3 Yellow: Whoa! Not often you get a guitar that offers so many features ~ the least of which is the guarantee you'll be seen on stage with this intense Yellow color!  Heck, at worst it'll double as a night light in your bedroom!  Seriously, this is a great guitar (as all of the SC series were!) and many thought they were "student" models which is quite wrong.  What they were designed for was to compete with the import models of the day (like Fender Squire) and offer a U.S.A. made instrument at an incredible price!  This has a trio of MFD single coils set in a black guard, with Leo Fender's heralded Dual Fulcrum Tremolo.  Locking Sperzel tuners, fast playing neck and it comes with a later G&L molded hardcase too.  $1,000.  Stock #UGB29476 photo BUY NOW

1985 G&L S-500 Black: Very cool, all Black S-500 with the black crinkle 2-piece pickguard/control plate.  Dual fulcrum tremolo, three single coil MFD pickups for superb tone that only a MFD can deliver.  The ebony neck has some real nice streaking as G&L used natural (unstained) ebony.  Assorted nicks and handling marks showing it's been played for 23+ years.  This early S-500's are highly sought and getting harder to find!  Missing tremolo arm (common unfortunately for this era of G&L's!).  Weight 8.4 lbs.  With hardcase.  $1,500.  Stock #UGB27740 photo

JUST IN!! 1985 G&L S-500 Clear Red: Very seldom do we come across these Maple necked versions in Clear Red with matching headstock.  The trio of rectangular shaped MFD's that are highly sought as evidence by the superb tone from where they sit in a black crinkle pickguard and control place. Dual fulcrum tremolo (with the vibrato arm missing).  With gigbag.  $1,200.  Stock #UGB30954 photo

1987 G&L Skyhawk "Sickle Headstock" White aged to Cream:  We've always dug the "Sickle Headstock" G&L's from the Leo Fender era.  This one has the famous G&L Logo decals with "Skyhawk by Leo Fender" on the headstock.  The previous owner replaced the pickups with staggered pole vintage style pickups and does not have the original MFD's ~ however newer MFD pickups can be purchased and installed to restore it to original spec's.  The neck is thin and a fast player with a Rosewood fingerboard and locking Sperzel tuners.  Dual Fulcrum tremolo with trem arm.  Non-original tolex style hardcase.  $800.  Stock #UGB30414 photo

Customs and Limited Editions

JUST IN!! 2007 G&L "Phyllis Fender" Limited Edition #60 of 100 "Blondie" See-Thru Blonde: We knew sooner or later we'd be seeing one of these!  Why? 2007 G&L "Phyllis Fender" Limited Edition #48 of 100 "Blondie" See-Thru Blonde: When the Bros. recently journeyed to the cold, rainy North, little did we know that not only would we be bringing back one of these very special Limited Edition G&L models, but that we'd actually be bringing home 2 of them! (We also didn't know that the BB van would need a new transmission when we returned either).  So, if you've a hankerin' for one of these, highly desirable instruments, this could be your best opportunity. With hard case. $1800 Stock#UGC30825

ASATs

Used G&L ASAT Classic Butterscotch Blonde: Ok - G&L was NOT around back in 1953, but the ASAT Classic was designed based on a '53 Telecaster that George Fullerton (the G of G&L) had and the drawings he had done at Fender in his many decades there with Leo Fender (the L of G&L).  Thus it's no surprise to see many vintage style appointments to this guitar with the many advancements that G&L created.   Ash body with a butterscotch blonde finish and single ply black pickguard with twin MFD single coil pickups.  Now the MFD is by far one of the best sounding pickups you'll ever hear.  Leo Fender felt this was the pinnacle of pickup design. They have twice the output per wind over a standard single coil, and each pole piece is adjustable so you can stagger the poles for a vintage tone and dial in EXACTLY what you want to hear.  The neck has a classic gun oil tinted glossy maple neck and of course the hardcase too!  Grab it quick at this super price!  $850.  Stock #UGB30843 photo

JUST IN!! Used G&L ASAT Classic Candy Apple Red: Made on Fender Avenue in Fullerton California is this modern rendition of a '53 Tele with lots of improvements!  Of course, the vintage style Candy Apple Red will catch your eye instantly along with the familiar rosewood fingerboard giving this a real 60's vibe to it.   Twin MFD single coils kick out the tone and every player will appreciate the 6-saddle bridge design.  With gigbag.  Just $750.  Stock #UGB30719 photo

Used G&L ASAT Classic Custom Belair Green: This beauty sports a lot of G&L upgrades.  First, it has a vintage style Belair Green finish on the body with the upgrade matching headstock.  The body also sports the upgrade feature of a double bound (top and back) body.  The rosewood fingerboard has Plek'd frets which makes playing easy and notes just dance off the fretboard as you play.  The large MFD has incredible tone (one of our favorite pickups ever made for electric guitars) as it resides in a Pearloid pickguard, with a classic MFD single coil in a box bridge.   As you listen to the sweet sounds playing, you'll stop and just put her in the hardcase and buy it on the spot!  With case. $1000 Stock #UGC30822. photo

Used G&L ASAT Deluxe Gold Sparkle: In talking with George Fullerton a couple of years back, he was explaining how he and Leo developed the first sparkle finish. "Well" said George " We really didn't know how to go about getting exactly what we had in mind, so we broke up a mirror into tiny pieces and mixed it in with the paint." Not to worry, there are no pieces of broken mirror glass in this version. (you won't cut yourself on the finish, not to mention those 7 years of bad luck). This example, which the boys in the shop are calling the "Bobby Ryan model" has a birds-eye Maple neck and a factory installed Bigsby tremolo too! With hard case. $1900 Stock#UGC30816

Used G&L ASAT Deluxe Natural:   So you love the sound of a Les Paul.  So you love the playability of a Tele.  But you like the sound of a single coil too.  What do you do?  Buy an ASAT Deluxe!  Like a Les Paul it has twin humbuckers with a mahogany body and maple top given you warm middle tones and a detail edge to the highs.  But it's a Tele shape giving you that playability.   Then G&L adds a "splitter" so you can split the humbuckers for single coil tones and BINGO ~ you've got one versatile guitar!  Flamey maple top is almost as gorgeous as the sound you get from this beauty.  Bound body, birdseye maple neck, and hardcase too.  What more could you ask for? $1450 Stock #UGC30781 photo

Used G&L ASAT Special Royal Purple: The king (no, not Elvis, Henry) said, "let this guitar be purple! For I want all my loyal subjects to know that I am one of them. Although my blood is blue, it is also red. Therefore, it is purple! Oh yes, the fretboard should be of the wood of the Rose, and don't worry about that tiny little chip in the finish in the back, I did that myself when I was putting it in the case. It is a trifling thing. Give them a few bucks off." With hard case $750 Stock#UGC30775 photo

Bluesboys

JUST IN!!  New! G&L Bluesboy Semi-Hollow 3 Color Sunburst: When Buffalo Bros. received the first G&L Bluesboys back in 1999 ~ the reaction was phenomenal.  One of the secrets to its' success was the pickup selection.  In consultation with Seymour Duncan, the '55 Seth Lover Seymour Duncan Humbucker was chosen specifically for the way it sonically balanced with the MFD single coil at the bridge.  Because of this array ~ you'll find three distinct tones.  In the neck is that classic old Les Paul-ish tone (more 335-ish in a Semi-Hollow) ~ dark and thick.   At the bridge is a Tele tone on steroids as is the nature of the MFD with a totally cutting edge detail making it breathe C&W and Classic Rock tone!  But in the middle, which we find is the favored position is a blend of the two.  Of course, the best thing to do is experience this.  And as you plug in this sunburst beauty with the natural wood binding, tortoise guard and rosewood neck ~ you will immediately understand why this is THE guitar to have!  With hardcase.  List $2,070.  $CALL!  Stock #NGC30566 photo

Used G&L Bluesboy Semi-Hollow Honeyburst:  Feels like a solid body, looks like a solid body, but it's a non-F hole semi hollow in Honeyburst finish with a Pearloid pickguard holding our favorite humbucker ~ the '55 Seth Lover by Seymour Duncan.  This ash body beauty also has a tinted gun oil neck, plek'd frets and is ready to go!  With case.  $1,100 Stock #UGC30811 photo

Comanches

Used G&L Comanche Blueburst:  There's a reason the Comanche received "Guitar of the Year" a few years back.  It's because of the versatility and superb tone that it offers. The moment your eye catches the birdseye bi-cut maple neck and your hands grasps the 12" radius fingerboard, everything just feels "right."  And the locking tuners with the graphite nut and string tree assure you that it'll play flawlessly with the Dual Fulcrum tremolo.  The body is ash in premier Blueburst finish and a pearloid pickguard houses three Z-coil MFD's which Leo Fender described as his "finest pickup."  While you can certainly use the classic 5-way switch, the expansion switch allows you to go beyond and play neck/bridge combination or all three pickups on at once.  Of course it comes with the original hardcase too!  $1,100.  Stock #UGB30508 photo

Used G&L SC-2 Vintage White: Before I write about this guitar, I have to make a confession.  I own one of the newer SC-2 guitars so I admit upfront to being prejudiced in favor of this instrument.  But then again, if you had a guitar store would you buy stuff you hated or stuff you loved?  I think the answer is obvious.  :)  So check out this vintage white beauty with the twin MFD's and dual fulcrum tremolo.  Rosewood fingerboard with their vintage # 2 neck that feels so good you won't stop playing.  Locking tuners and a gigbag. USA made for just $725.  Stock #UGC30807 photo

JUST IN!! Used G&L SC-2 Vintage White:  One of our favorite features on G&L guitars is the Saddle Lock bridge.  Vintage White, Rosewood fingerboard and of course the gigbag.  Ready to go!  $650.  Stock #UGC30766

JUST IN!! Used G&L SC-2 Vintage White:  It's amazing the deals we find while scouring around the country.  This is one that came from a tiny little store who is sadly on the edge of going out of business.  We bought a bunch of their inventory for two reasons ~ one it gives us great deals to give our loyal family of customers and two it helped these nice folks out.  If you've never owned an SC-2 you're missing a LOT.  USA made with twin soapbar MFD's with a thick tone with all the articulation and harmonic highlights you'd want from a tonal perspective.  Vintage White is a great color giving you that creamy white finish which is offset by a Rosewood fingerboard.  With gigbag.  $650.  Stock #UGC30831
