New! Roberto Kremer 1A: There are always discussions among players in regards to tone woods. But the usual winners are always seem to be German Spruce for the top, and Brazilian Rosewood for the back & sides. Very few hotel suites can handle the subtle transition from B flat to A natural. The tonal response of the Kremer 1A is positively breathtaking! Sweet, pure treble response with rich overtones in the mid range, and bass notes that will have you thinking that there is more than one guitar playing at a time. The neck is a hefty 2 1/8" wide, the mere bulk of it increases sustain exponentially. As rich and rewarding a tonal experience as you will find anywhere. With hard case. $7000 Stock#NGB25443 photo
2003 Roberto Kremer 1A: Nicely maintained and superb sounding instrument from a part of the world few people know about and even fewer have seen. Roberto Kremer is a German luthier who emigrated to the Azores 15 years ago. He set up his one man shop and fashioned his work benches, jigs and hand tools by himself. He brought with him an unbelievable stash of tight grained German Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood that he had in Germany since the late '60s. The wood in itself is superbly beautiful and possessed of that aged in tone that only comes from old growth wood. Add to that the meticulous craftsmanship of Roberto, and you have a combination that can only be described as legendary. Originally sold by Roberto for 5500 Euros ($7700 USD), this represents a bargain in today's market. With hard case. $5500 Stock#UGB21861 photo
